10.16.13 / Jon to perform at the Westfield Athenaeum

Jon will be performing an intimate showcase at the Westfield Athenaeum for “First Thursdays” on November 7, at noon. He’ll be performing a split show; The first half will consist of solo saxophone music that has been featured on websites and television commercials. Jon will be singing songs the second set, some from his upcoming 2014 iTunes release.
RS Berkeley artist and songwriter Jon Berman is the saxophonist for Changes In Latitudes, the country’s premier tribute show to Jimmy Buffett. For over twenty years he has performed with acts such as Hard Rock Café Ambassador of Rock winners Jackson Wetherbee Band, The Sweet Remains, Barefoot Truth, Stephen Kellogg, Mieka Pauley, Jim Gilmour Band, Tripping Billies, Samantha Farrell, Carlos Reyes, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Adam Ezra Group, and Charles Neville.
In his twenty-plus year career, Jon has opened for acts such as Matt Nathanson, Reel Big Fish, O.A.R., Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Gin Blossoms, Collective Soul, Guster, and the Aaron Lewis Invitational Golf Tournament.
