Last Friday, Four Main Street Bar and Grill was the sight of a strange occurance – Jon Berman, encouraged by owner/Chef John Slattery, pulled out a guitar and did a half hour set of original tunes to the surprise of guests (and himself). This was followed up by a “screening” of four songs with producer Dave Chalfant, who has worked with bands such as Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers, Martin Sexton, Keller Williams, and The Nields, to name a few. Jon’s wicked excited to say that a five song EP is being recorded and working with Dave Chalfant is an honor, kind of scary, and just plain crazy. Stay tuned for more info as it unfolds.

Jon Berman plays Beach Bar Americana Music that takes you away. He has performed everywhere from stadiums to back decks. Jon has performed with acts such as Changes In Latitudes, Barefoot Truth, Jackson Wetherbee and The Elovaters, The Sweet Remains, Stephen Kellogg, John Frinzi, Badfish, Roots of Creation, Grateful Dub and more!

In his "pay your dues, man" touring career, Jon got to open for acts including country star Granger Smith, O.A.R., Matt Nathanson, Dropkick Murphy's, Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Gin Blossoms, Collective Soul, Guster, Smith & Myers from Shinedown, Sully from Godsmack, Staind & Aaron Lewis. He even wrote and performed a surprise #4 iTunes easy listening hit, "Corona in My Coffee Cup"! You’ll find at least one song you love in his catalog of songs.
