As a former patient at Dana-Farber, Jon knows first-hand the great work that is done there. Consequently, he tries to support Dana-Farber and The Jimmy Fund whenever possible and has performed in fundraisers with both Jackson Wetherbee and Changes in Latitudes.
The Boston Bruins Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation whose mission is to assist charitable organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children throughout New England. Jon has supported The Bruins Foundation through performances with Jackson Wetherbee.
The It Takes A Community Foundation was founded by Aaron Lewis and his wife, Vanessa, to help revive rural communities throughout the greater New England area by raising funds to support community groups that are working to engage their communities, sustain public services and provide assistance to communities in crisis.
Jon is a strong supporter of the It Takes a Community Foundation through donating proceeds from CD sales to opening for Aaron at a fundraising golf tournament at the Crumpin-Fox Golf Course.
Our 12 year old friend, Ethan, suffered a stroke in early April during treatment for a cerebral aneurysm. He underwent therapy at a rehab facility in Boston and, unfortunately, expenses mounted as a result of his treatment and extended stay in Boston. Jon wrote a song for Ethan entitled, Someday, that was available for download for a limited time (it’s also track #3 on Vermont). 100% of the proceeds from those sales went directly to Ethan’s Rehab Fund.
As a cancer survivor, Jon knows first-hand the benefits of Livestrong. Jon also performs in cancer fundraisers whenever possible.
